If you like brain then this recipe is just for you. Follow the karahi maghaz recipe by Shireen Anwar and prepare a lip smacking meal for the whole family.

Ingredients

  • Mutton brain 4
  • Onion 1 ½ cup (chopped)
  • Tomatoes 3 (chopped)
  • Yogurt ½ cups
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • Chili powder 2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder ½ tsp
  • Fenugreek leaves 1 tsp (heaped)
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp (chopped)
  • Green chilies 2 – 3 (chopped)
  • Oil ½ cup

Cooking Directions

  1. Wash brain and boil in water for 5 minutes then remove veins.
  2. Heat oil fry onion till golden; add ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric, chili powder. Coriander powder, chopped tomatoes and yogurt, fry well.
  3. Add mutton brain, cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Lastly add garam masala powder, fenugreek leaves, coriander and green chilies. Serve with Naan.
