Gulab Jamun - You can't go wrong in serving up these delectable delights after dinner, at a party or at tea time. Theae gulab jamuns are made with khoya, semolina, egg and flour.

   Ingredients

    1. Egg ½
    2. Khoya 250 gm
    3. Sugar 2 cup
    4. Water as required
    5. Kewra as required
    6. Clarified butter as required
    7. Plain flour 1 tbsp
    8. Semolina (suji) 1 tbsp
    9. Baking powder 1/2 tsp
    10. Oil for frying

  • Cooking Directions

    1. Cook sugar in a pan with enough water for a syrup to form. Add kewra.

    2. Beat egg and add khoya and semolina to it.

    3. Mix together using your hands.

    4. Knead the mixture with baking powder and clarified butter.

    5. Make small balls.

    6. Heat oil for deep frying.

    7. Fry the balls till golden in colour.

    8. Dip the balls in sugar syrup and serve hot.
